Emily is an associate with the firm who focuses her practice on workers’ compensation claims and appellate litigation.
Emily graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. While at CWRU Law, she was an Executive Notes Editor on Health Matrix: Journal of Law-Medicine.
During law school, Emily worked as a legal intern for the Honorable Justice Rebecca Dallet of the Wisconsin Supreme Court, which gave her invaluable insight into the appellate litigation system. Emily worked as a legal intern in the Capital Habeas Unit for the Federal Public Defender’s Office in the Northern District of Ohio and as a law clerk at the Milton A. Kramer law clinic. These experiences gave her the opportunities to work with indigent clients who needed representation in both civil and criminal matters.
Prior to law school, Emily worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst at Epic Systems where she gained first-hand experience with healthcare systems and hospital billing.
Emily is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association, and the Ohio Association for Justice. Emily represents injured workers and strives to ensure her clients get the benefits they are entitled to.
When Emily is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, including her goldendoodle named Boomer.
